Chelle, I’m not a great one for measurement sunless I’m baking and have to be precise. My recipes usually run along the how much do you want to add or how much do you have variety. Having said that I’ve done my best to give a guideline in the edit above. Happy cooking!

This looks great and I would love to try it!! A few questions:

- About how much beef do you use? Do you prefer a particular cut?
- Do you dice or slice your onions?
- While simmering for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, do you cover it or leave the lid off?
- How many ramekins or what size casserole?
