Blackberry and Honey Liqueur Sorbet

600 g blackberries (I picked these from the kitchen garden)
400 caster sugar
200ml water
1 small lemon
50 ml Honey liqueur (I used Wild Nectar - a liqueur made in Swellendam from Cape fynbos honey. I imagine you could use mead or what the Slovakians call med, although I’m not sure it has the same complexity of character)Blitz [...]

French Strawberry Icecream

Don’t even bother with this if strawberries are imported or out of season. The recipe is so simple that it relies on the unadulterated taste of perfect summer strawberries and fresh farm cream.
500g Fresh Strawberries
250g caster sugar
Juice and zest of i organic, unwaxed lemon
150-300ml double or whipping cream

Raspberry and Lime Icecream

500g raspberries
250g caster sugar ( I always use vanilla sugar as I feel vanilla is a flavour enhancer for just about anything- much like salt)
2 organic, unwaxed limes - zest and juice
25 ml Limoncello (Italian Lemon Liqueur - you can always leave this out and splash your finished serving of icecream with Limoncello instead)
